#113. Tangerine Dream – ‘Creation’ (1977)

On this day in 1940, Ringo Starr was born. That has nothing to do with this.

I just couldn’t think of much else to say. I’m tired. This comes from the soundtrack to William Friedkin’s 1977 jungle adventure/existential thriller Sorcerer. It’s a thing. Tangerine Dream’s soundtrack found many admirers at the time and led to them soundtracking several more high-profile films in the ensuing years, but apparently the film wasn’t really all that well-received. I’ve had this soundtrack for a while now, although I haven’t seen the film. Looks very interesting though and I do intend to check it out when I get the time – Friedkin going a bit Herzog, maybe?
