Here’s something new from Philadelphia’s own prolific one-man ambient post-rock orchestra, Mr. Mike Patkus.

Ever listen to some of the happier earlier ambient stuff from the ’70s? Like, some of Eno’s stuff, some Krautrock-ish things like Neu!’s ambient flirtations, ‘Lieber Honig’ and ‘Leb Wohl’. The early, primitive ambient music that, you know, doesn’t sound like robots being tortured with power drills and angle grinders.
