#75. Spacemen 3 – ‘Hey Man’ (1986)

Jesusgaze.

Jason Pierce always liked to add tinges of gospel to his music, even back in his Spacemen 3 days. Always gave it a biting edginess, and, considering the amount of different things these guys were known to be on, a realness. Despair at one’s very existence, at one’s futile reaches toward some otherworldly glimmer of hope on the horizon.
