In Nottingham they do this.

Well, at least one person does. Krautrock-inflected minimalist electronica is the order of the day here, coming from Nottingham producer Twelve. There’s some clear echoes of late-seventies Kraftwerk here. Because Krautrock is always the answer.

This cut comes from his album N O_C O U N T R Y, which came out last December, the fourth of five albums this scarily prolific human has released on BandCamp in the past year. The most recent of these, Get Sum, is a somewhat different affair, being home to shorter, more receptive tracks with more of an upbeat eighties vibe. Back when the sequencer came of age. If you were rich.

Now you can make that shit with a good ear and a hand-me-down MacBook and make five albums worth each year. (A few) more people should do this.
