#12. Goblin – ‘Buio Omega’

Z-movies, A-soundtracks.

Goblin are/were an Italian band of the ’70s/’80s who are best known for soundtracking several probably crappy Italian B-horror films of the era, none of which I’ve seen, so do correct me if I’m wrong. This particular track features in the opening credits of the film of the same name. Like a lot of their other material I’ve heard, sits somewhere between Giorgio Morodor, who of course was the hottest property in film music at the time, and King Crimson, who were King Crimson. Maybe a bit of classic Santana in there too.

I found this and some of their other work purely by accident, leaving Youtube going while I was doing something else, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Oh Man.
